Angela Thompson


 Angela just received a BA in Musical Theatre with a minor in Music from Wichita State University where she trained in voice, acting, and dance. In her final year of undergrad she designed for WSU's production of States of Happiness which was invited to perform at KCACTF and received many awards. While at KCACTF Angela competed in the Irene Ryan Acting Competition and also appeared as Tracy Turnblad in the Musical Theatre Dance Intensive, "You Can't Stop the Beat" from HAIRSPRAY, directed by Karen Burthwright and Adam Yankowy. Angela ended her senior  year as Marmee March in Little Women, walked at graduation, and the next day headed out to Brookings, South Dakota to join the company of Prairie Repertory Theatre for another summer season. She had the joy of portraying her favorite Disney villain, Ursula, as well as be a part of the hilarious farce, Fox on the Fairway. Alongside performing she also worked in the costume shop and costume designed the play Tuesdays with Morrie. Currently, Angela resides in Wichita, KS where she is open for booking and whatever turns life takes her on!
